Tips for Using the ECF Title Separation Calculator:
- Enter your ECF Player Code (e.g.,
372524J). You can find this on the ECF Rating website.
- Select which titles you want to search for. By default, all are selected.
- If you want to see more details about the search, increase the Debug Level.
- Still stuck? Message me on chess.com!
It's taking too long, what can I do?:
- Reload the site, it should tell you if the backend server is online. If it is offline the site has to resort to slow public servers, this is fine for quick searches but can make a big impact in long searches. Try messaging me and I can turn the backend online.
- Try a less specific search criteria- it will take a lot longer to find paths to only beat GMs compared to searches for any titled player.
- I recommend doing this in a computer browser and leaving the page open while it calculates. If you close the page, the calculation will stop, on your phone this can be a dull wait.
- Beat stronger opponents! A strong player will have a much quicker search as they will have many more links to beating titled players.
